I'm sorry you've had such frustration with your voter registration, but I'm confident I can help you with this.
The most effective way to correct this problem is to start with a simple Voter Registration Change-of-Address form which I will mail to you tonight. I have already filled in the form for you to be absolutely certain it is done correctly. I highlighted the 5 areas which YOU need to complete:
• Place of Birth• Social Security Number• Daytime Phone Number• Signature• Date Once you have completed that form and signed it, you have a choice:
1. You can seal it and mail it directly to the Davidson County Election Commission (I have correctly addressed the form for you), or2. You can return it to me and I will hand-deliver the form for you and see to it that your new voter registration card with correct address is mailed to you. Either way is okay with me, so choose what you are most comfortable with. I will include a return envelope should you choose the 2nd option.
FYI, I will include the Voter File document so you can see first-hand what the error was, but IT SHOULD NOT BE MAILED TO THE ELECTION COMMISSION. It only muddies the water, if you know what I mean.
I've done a lot of business at the DCEC with Restoration of Voting Rights for former felons, and I guarantee you this is easier to repair and this strategy will work.
