13.51 Challenged again over who suggested Neil Wallis was available for employment, Mr Fedorcio again says he cannot remember. But he doesn't believe it could have been Rebekah Brooks.13.49 Under questioning from Nicola Blackwood, Mr Fedorcio admits that he knew John Yates was a contact of Neil Wallis at the time he asked him to conduct the due diligence check. But he did not know they had been close friends going back for years.
He says he had no reason to doubt Yates's integrity. Nicola Blackwood says that's not the issue - was John Yates put in a difficult position? Mr Fedorcio denies that he was.
13.48 Those Rupert Murdoch resignation rumours have been quickly rebuffed by News Corp.
Richard Greene of CNN says that News Corp has released a statement, saying that he will not. "Suggestions that a plan is currently being accelerated or implemented are inaccurate", it says.
